LA’s Savvy know
that Staged Homes Sell:
Selling homes is not just for Realtors. Staging, also known as house
dressing or styling, and has become the norm in Los Angeles for
high-end properties. Home Staging LA will transform your vacant
property into a warm, welcoming retreat. Believing empty homes
simply do not sell quickly, Home Staging LA decorates every space
into a melancholy of rich textures and colors, allowing potential
buyers to experience the ambiance of the home and to picture their
new lifestyle. Home Staging LA will take any interior, and create a
distinguished blend of sophistication and casual elegance. We
believe that Real Estate agents and home sellers alike agree - using
a stager sells homes faster. In fact, we have assisted in selling
millions of dollars in real estate. A multi-million dollar
home in Bel Air that was on the market for over a year sold in
just 30 days after it was staged. We create an ambiance that
looks good, and feels good. A combination of old and new, well
thought-out and detailed, the look is tasteful and
stylish.
Can
you afford not to Stage your home?
Purchasing a home is very
emotional, most buyers know if they like a home in the first few minutes and in Los Angeles they put an offer on your home in the
first few hours. I understand that your home is your most
valuable asset and the hardest to let go of because of the
emotions and memories associated with it. Selling your home
should be as pleasant and profitable as possible. Taking the extra
few days it takes to stage and prepare your home for sale is worth
the investment. Statistics show that staged homes sell
faster that non-staged homes, and usually for full price, some
even go into multiple offers in just days, not the months it takes
for other listings. I work within your time frame and budget
because I understand that time is money when selling your home. Whether you have a five hundred thousand dollar home or a five
million dollar home, staging can make all the difference. We look
forward to working with you on your future projects.
Wall Street
Journal, April 30, 2003
"Staging speeds up
sales in a sluggish market, and can bump up prices 2% to 10% in a
moderate market. The biggest advantage occurs with luxury homes or
in a market with bidding wars over properties, where effective
staging can boost prices by 30% to 50%. "
Staging works because people shopping
for a new house usually lack imagination, buyers only know what they
see not the way it is going be. Busy families want a turn-key
house, a house that is ready to be lived in, not a home where they
will immediately have to begin painting and remodeling. It is not uncommon for a seller of a
staged home to obtain thousands of dollars more for his or her home,
when in fact the cost to prepare the home is a fraction of that.
In a depressed market, a staged home will likely experience a much
quicker sale, while other houses sit on the market longer, costing
their owners time and money. Does it pay to sell anything
without trying to maximize your return on the investment?
Studies show that staged homes sell
twice as fast, and at a substantially higher price than homes that
are not staged.
In a sample of staged homes, the
average number of days on the market was 13.9 -- about half of the
time for houses in the general sample. The average difference in
selling price over list price was 6.3 percent, nearly four times as
much as for the other group of homes.
